Imaginatik is currently seeking a Vice President – Client Development to lead the development and growth of new and existing accounts in North America. This position is based out of Imaginatik’s Boston Offices or Dallas, Texas. Travel can be up to 50% in North America.
We are an innovation technology, analytics (SaaS) and advisory firm. We work with large corporates and technology firms to design, implement and monitor the effectiveness of their innovation portfolios / programs.
We are a specialized SaaS business applications player – and recognized by Forrester as the market leader in the innovation management marketplace.
We are looking for a strong business development (hunter) person who can work with / sell into both the technology and senior business sides of the house. We are in growth mode – requiring the capabilities to originate & close Platform and Analytics-enabled work.
Specific activities required will include: origination, proposal / “pitch” writing, working closely with our consulting team in shaping consulting propositions, conducting initial demonstrations of our technology, and managing senior long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate will have credible experience in consulting to major organizations, particularly with respect to innovation or large-scale business change as well as clear experience winning sizable new business. Experience with cloud business software and the associated complex sale is preferred, if not critical, for personal success. The role requires a blend of curiosity, teamwork, a high level of initiative, and personal responsibility for the team’s objectives. Clients include Nike, Catepillar, Dow, Chubb, Abderdeen Asset Management, and Exxon Mobil.
